As I delved into the depths of Erkin Vahidov’s creativity, I could feel
his soul close to my soul, his poetic voice close to our classical harmony.
This genius was a treasury of poems, verses, stanzas rooted in the air, the
yeast of the fountain of Muhammed Fuzuli’s poetry (1494-1556). In the
presented work, the Muhammed Fuzuli’s influence on Erkin Vahidov’s
work is grouped into several topics: the issue of Fuzuli’s influence on Erkin
Vahidov’s work - Erkin Vahidov as a student of Muhammed Fuzuli’s school;
the features of the intellectual content of Erkin Vahidov’s poem “In Front
of the Statue of Fuzuli”; the influence of Fuzuli in Erkin Vahidov’s work
“Fascination of the word” and his interpretation of the “Sor” ghazal; Erkin
Vahidov’s “Etmazmidim” ghazal (mukhammas) of Muhammed Fuzuli.
When we delve into the deepest layers of the history of any nation of Turkish origin, only the Turkish identity is visible from there. With this in
mind, I would like to state that Navai is an Azerbaijani poet as much as an
Uzbek poet, and Fuzuli is an Uzbek poet as much as an Azerbaijani poet.
Erkin Vahidov’s literary personality and works, whose creativity derives
from the Navai - Fuzuli school, are evidence of the history of Turkish
identity.
We have grouped the research article I want to present on various
problems such as the Muhammed Fuzuli’s influence on Erkin Vahidov’s
work.
