Аннотация

This article analyzes instances of the phenomenon of dissimilation
in the phonetics of the Uzbek language spoken in Afghanistan. The study
utilizes examples from both prose and poetic literary works. Various forms
of dissimilation, particularly progressive and regressive dissimilation
processes, as well as phonetic changes arising from sound similarity and
the mutual influence of adjacent sounds, are illustrated with concrete
examples.
Based on the research findings, while certain dissimilation
phenomena are observed in the literary Uzbek language of Afghanistan,
it has been determined that these processes manifest more extensively in
spoken language. However, the study of this phenomenon in dialects has
not yet been sufficiently carried out. Although a few academic studies have
been conducted at the master’s level, they have covered only a limited
scope. Further research in this area needs to be expanded and thoroughly
investigated.
This article serves as a noteworthy new study on dissimilation
processes in the literary Uzbek language of Afghanistan, and we believe it
will inspire future researchers in the field of linguistics
